Mother's Day in Vegas...
Decided about a week ago that i need to escape away from the everyday routine ...get away and do something different for Mothers day...i needed a break...So we packed up the car and went to Vegas...Now just an easy and fast 4-1/2 hour drive with an amazing and most magnificent view of the Hoover Dam thanks to the new "Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge" 890 feet above the Colorado River.....We stayed at the fun Treasure Island..Spent the whole day Saturday at the very fun pool (with a campari of course.)... the girls and i were dancing in the pool. ..later that afternoon we visited the talking statues at Ceasars and walked through the italian streets of the hotel, saw the tiger dipslay at MGM, the dancing fountains at Bellagio, we saw the many different acts and characters on the streets that were fun... and we saw many other sights of the other .then on the way we back we stopped at lake mead and spent a little time at the marina feeding seaguls and at the beach picking sea shells..... it was a great 2 day ...1 night away.....
