Hugs To Rudy..

Rudy... a very sweet 70 something year old man was a friend of mine from the health club in Wisconsin. He use to take my water exercise classes when i was teaching. When we moved, he stayed in touch through letters and cards. He always sent me newspaper clippings of his grandsons of their wrestling days and school sports. He was so proud of them.. This week Rudy sent me the copy of the Eulogy and church prayer card of his 22 year old grandson Ian. I did not know he was sick , so it came as a shock. Ian 's favorite sport was water polo. Rudy and grandson were very close and they loved to fish together. He was in college and planning his future.... Rudy never thought he would have to bury his grandson and that God's plan of his future would be in heaven... My heart goes out to Rudy and his family. Tomorrow is not promised to any one of us.... Every moment of every day is so important...... the memories made of hugs , love , caring , tenderness, apologies, forgiveness, giving , graditude , honesty, and compassion will be the treasures stored in our hearts.....

Praying for Rudy... from what you said it sounds like he is an amazing man and I am sure that genuine love of his meant the world to his grandson while he was alive. In that, he gave him the greatest gift of all. Amy
